Artist's Comments

these are the third pair of blank vans that i've decorated, the first pair that haven't been for my brother. my friend alese gave them to me and said to do whatever i wanted. so i went crazy and did them as obnoxious and colorful as i could!

all of these images are completely original (unlike the other pairs of shoes where i used copyrighted images for reference because my brother wanted very specific things like album covers and whatnot.)

i had fun with these. i used a fine tip faber castell black pen and thin sharpies.

forgotten, forsaken,
mistreated, mistaken,
my life is such a bitter view.
tortured and toyed,
my whole life destroyed,
but all i can think of is you.

look at me please,
a final memory to hold,
the last bit of love,
where i lie here so cold.
:iconreincarnationspf:
You are most welcome! :-)

i don't really know how long it took, but if i were to guess...(time spent planning on paper included)...maybe 10 hours?
:iconguggenheimgrotto:
thank you so much! i've thought about selling some...so far they've just been gifts to good friends and relatives. but it would be nice to make some money off that hard work...haha
